- The Event:
- NO ALCOHOL is to be consumed or served at any FHAPA Edge&TA Branch 107 Event.
- All Pullers must be members of Edge&TA.
- All Pullers must be 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
- Kids under 16 years of age may pull if they have completed the FHAPA Youth Driver Program.
- This involves showing a FHAPA Edge&TA Branch 107 Officer or Board Member, that they can handle the tractor – Examples: Backing Up, Being Able to Reach and Work All the Controls, etc.
- The Driver is the Only person allowed on a tractor while it is in motion.
- Exception: Tractors that require 2 Drivers – Steam Tractors.
- The Driver must always remain seated when the tractor is in motion.
- Exception: Tractors designed for standing only – Steam Tractors, Certain Gas/Kerosene Tractors, etc.
- There will be no hot rodding in the pits or tack areas.
- Tractors should not be left unattended while they are running.
- Spectators must be at least 30’ from the edge of the track unless there is a solid separation barrier.
- The Tractors:
- All Tractors must have a kill switch or devices accessible from the Driver’s Seat to kill the engine.
- All Tractors must have and maintain working brakes.
- Tractors cannot enter a class that is below its lightest weigh-in weight.
- All tractors must be manufactured in 1969 or older.
- Two-wheel drive tractors only.
- The Pull:
- The Tractor MUST be in Neutral and the Drivers Hands up, before hooking to the sled
- If anything falls off the Tractor during the pull, that pull is disqualified & no distance is recorded.
- Pulls are measured for distance.
- A Full Pull is when the sled’s progressive weight maxes out at the top of the incline.
- If on your first pull of a DIV/CLASS, you have a bad start and stop within 50’, you will be able to reset & repull.
- The FLAG PERSON is always in charge while the tractor is on the track.
- Any violations observed by the FLAG PERSON or SAFTEY OFFICER will result in automatic disqualification.
- Wheelie Bar Requirements (if your class allows or requires them):
- 10” Maximum above the ground.
- The back of wheelie bar is to extend 5” behind the tire radius.
- Wheelie Bar Pads are to be 5 inches square minimum & spaced 20 inches from outside of the pads.
- The Wheelie Bar Stabilization System must be able to support the tractor, driver, and weights for the heaviest class it pulls in.
- Hitches and Draw Bars:
- No part of the draw bar may extend rearward beyond point of hook.
- Hitches & Drawbars must be stationary in all directions.
- For divisions that allows a clevis:
- They can be bolted or pinned to the drawbar.
- They must have a 3 ¼” hole.
- For custom hitches:
- Material must be a between ¾” and 1 1/4” thick.
- Must have a 3 1/4″ hole, with 1” of material around the whole.
- If equipped with hitch adjuster, the top of hitch adjuster cannot be above the center line of the axle.
- Crawler Tractors must use standard hitch. No Modifications allowed.
- Classes & Divisions:
- There will be 3 divisions.
- DIV I (Farm Stock), DIV II, DIV III, DIV IV (6 mph)
- There will be 14 classes.
- 0 – 2500, 2501 – 3000, 3001 – 3500, 3501 – 4000, 4001 – 4500, 4501 – 5000, 5001 – 5500, 5501 – 6000, 6001 – 6500, 6501 – 7000, 7001 – 7500, 7501 – 8000, 8001 – 9000, 9001 – 10000
- There will also be an EXHIBITION CLASS
- This is a special class for tractors that we decide are safe to pull, but do not fit in any of the classes that have be laid out above.
- Tractor/Driver Combo may be pulled in several classes, but only once per class.
- The same tractor can be pulled in the same class if it is a different driver.
- There will be 3 divisions.
We are now trying follow the NATPA rules for DIV II, III, and IV6 a little closer. If you have a question on the rules on here you can also refer to the NATPA site, www.natpa.club and check out more detailed rules there. A good rule of thumb is that if your tractor has been set up for a division/class in NATPA it will be fine for our pulls. We also will still be pulling our DIV I Farm Stock. This is for the fully stock tractors only.
Division One – Farm Stock
This division is designed for fully stock farm tractors, all parts must be OEM, or OEM replacement.
This class is designated as you drive it in from the field, pull the sled, then drive it back into the field to go back to work.
- All Rules in the General Rules.
- SPEED: 3 MPH in 1st or 2nd No Torque Shifting allowed.
- The Pull:
- While pulling the front wheels of the tractor must not exceed 16” from the ground.
- A chain device will be used to determine the height.
- Sled operator will provide the chain device.
- While pulling the front wheels of the tractor must not exceed 16” from the ground.
- Tractor:
- Tractors must have stock engine, frames, transmission, rear end and axles housing or manufacturer’s replacement.
- Engine:
- Tractors may not exceed 100 HP.
- Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene, or LP fuels Only.
- No alcohol, airplane, or nitrous fuels may be used in tractors.
- Tractors must run the fuel they were built for.
- Example: You cannot run a diesel tractor on gasoline or LP.
- Tractors may not use electronic ignition systems.
- Electronic pickup can be added to the inside of magneto or distributor.
- Magneto or Distributor must maintain stock appearance on the outside.
- Tires & Wheels:
- NO CUT tires.
- Maximum tire size is 38”.
- Tractors tires and wheels must be factory original in size, style, and type.
- Draw Bar:
- Tractors must use stock hitches.
- Maximum hitch height is 20” for rubber tires & 16” for steel wheels.
- Minimum hitch length is 16” for rubber tires & 18” for steel wheels.
- Hitches & Drawbars must be stationary in all directions.
- Clevis’s may be used. They can be bolted or pinned to the drawbar.
- Crawler Tractors must use standard hitch. No Modifications allowed.
- The Weights:
- Suitcase weights are not permitted; factory weights are permitted though. If the tractor had factory wheel or other style weights, they may be used, but must be mounted per manufacturer’s recommendations.

Division Two – Competitive Stock
This division is designed for near stock tractors, piston kits, etc.
- All Rules in the General Rules.
- SPEED: 3 MPH. No Torque Shifting allowed.
- The Tractor:
- Tractors must have stock engine, frames, transmission, rear end and axles housing or manufacturer’s replacement.
- The Engine:
- Naturally aspirated, Execptions: Oliver 99 GM
- Tractors must not exceed manufacturer’s recommended RPM by 10%.
- Gasoline, Diesel, Kerosene, or LP fuels Only.
- No alcohol, airplane, or nitrous fuels may be used in tractors.
- Tractors must run the fuel they were built for.
- Example: You cannot run a diesel tractor on gasoline or LP.
- Tractors may not use electronic ignition systems.
- Electronic pickup can be added to the inside of magneto or distributor.
- Magneto or Distributor must maintain stock appearance on the outside.
- Draw Bar:
- Maximum hitch height is 18” from the ground.
- Minimum hitch length is 18” from the center of the axle.
- Wheelie Bars:
- Wheelie bars recommended for this class but not required.
- If you have wheelie bars, they must meet the standards as defined in the general rules.
- If you do not have wheelie bars, then a chain device will be required.
- While pulling the front wheels of the tractor must not exceed 16” from the ground.
- A chain device will be used to determine the height.
- Sled operator will provide the chain device.
- Wheelie bars recommended for this class but not required.
- Tires & Wheels:
- No cut tires allowed. No Radials, no steel wheels.
- Maximum tire size is 38”.
- Tires must be on rim width not exceeding the tires manufacturer’s recommended width.
- Weights:
- Custom made weight brackets are permitted. They must have a stop on the end of the bracket.
- Front weight bracket must not extend more than 11’ from the center of the rear axle.
- Rear weights may not extend beyond the rear of the tire.

Division Three – Competitive Modified
This division is designed for more competitive tractors and allows for some more modifications to your tractor.
- All Rules in the General Rules.
- SPEED: 4 MPH. No Torque Shifting allowed.
- The Tractor:
- Tractors must have stock engine, frames, transmission, rear end and axles housing or manufacturer’s replacement.
- The Engine:
- Tractors must not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended RPM by 20%.
- Naturally aspirated, Execptions: Oliver 99 GM
- Tractors manufactured to use diesel cannot be converted to gas or LP.
- Number of barrels, throats, venturi, etc., must be that of the manufacturer for that make/model.
- Exception: JD can run updated replacement duplex heads, manifolds, and carburetors.
- Enhanced electrical systems permitted.
- No rev limiters allowed.
- Draw Bar:
- Maximum hitch height is 20” from the ground.
- Minimum hitch length is 18” from the center of the axle.
- No clevises. Hitch must follow rules outlined in the general rules.
- Wheelie Bars:
- Wheelie bars required.
- They must meet the standards as defined in the general rules.
- Wheelie bars required.
- Tires & Wheels:
- Any cut on tires allowed. No Radials, no steel wheels.
- Maximum tire size is 18.4 x 38”.
- No purpose built pulling or non-agricultural tires will be allowed.
- Weights:
- Custom made weight brackets are permitted. They must have a stop on the end of the bracket.
- Front weight bracket must not extend more than 11’ from the center of the rear axle.
- Rear weights may not extend beyond the rear of the tire.

Division Four 6 MPH – Competitive Modified 6MPH
This division is designed for more competitive tractors and allows for some more modifications to your tractor.
